Secret: so long as you are not abusing of the privilege, bottles of water/1 can of soda and/or box of candy per group will likely be permissible so long as you are not Blatant about it. That said, unless you have to bring in your own popcorn(Like my mom, who has diabetes) purchasing something from the counter is only polite.
All in all, my biggest problem is the continuing attempts at 3D(as in 3D glasses) showings of movies. I am not able to view 3D. And it's annoying trying to figure out what they mean by "3D" on their Conway App.(yes, they have an App for that!)(Edit continued: their app or homepage now includes this information
The only 'small' screen in the cinema, that I'm aware of, is the upstairs one. I'm not even sure if it is still in use/available. It used to be that you could rent the room/theater for private use. No idea if it's still available after the fire a while back, or the remodeling project.(Edit:post 2016; It no longer exists
That doesn't mean we're going to we were at the second showing and it was very clean
Great small town theater. Prices are decent and movie selection stays up to date.
Always a good time. Great Theater, amazing owners and employees.
I actually prefer this over the Rouman Cinema in Rhinelander.
The few times that they have had technical issues with showing the movies, they have been most kind & helpful. They are often quite willing to make up for it, if it becomes a more than 5-15min issue.
Great old time theater, feels like going back in time.
Well, if you're looking for a big city cinema experience you'll be moderately disappointed. However, for those of us not looking for indoor drive-in sized movie screen's, this theater has reasonable prices tickets and sufficiently large multi-storey screen's. (I've never been unable to see the screen) Furthermore, unlike other larger cinemas, you often have several seats (if not rows) between you and the other moviegoers.
Edit 2017: While all the above, especially the previous sentence, is still true; they have decided to "close for the season" for the first time Ever, if not in decades. This is starting by the end of January. Apparently, business has been waning to the point of not being worth it over the coldest winter months. If it weren't for this, I'd give 5-stars! ✌
